Hello, my name is Jon,
and I would love to help you celebrate your wedding.

I'm based less than an hour away from the venue and along with my business partner Andrew we won wedding DJ of the year (North) last year and we have already been voted finalists for this year, so we are perfectly placed to help you build some memories.
​
The most important part, especially when it comes to weddings, is making sure we have a full consultation, just to make sure we are exactly on the same page. It's your day and I'm here to add the sparkles on top! I provide full PA services and we would make sure to get any special songs locked in, for the first dance and cake cut etc. I've no problem playing exclusively from a pre-selected playlist you send, all I would say is that if we go with 100% pre-selected, it leaves no wiggle room to follow and react to the crowd during the event. This is what takes a wedding from good to unforgettable and as professional DJs, this is what we bring to the table. For weddings I do like to increase the energy and BPM as the night goes on and make sure we finish with a bang. That being said I'm more than happy to just play your requests and on the night requests.

Tired of sub-standard and unreliable DJs (I was let down twice) I decided to use my club experience to set up MiD8 and provide the kind of service I would like to receive myself, but found the industry lacking - a fully professional package, with professional DJs, professional audio equipment, professional lighting and above all reliablity.

Although we only joined Add to Events recently we have 100% 5 star reviews across the board. I believe this is because we take every booking personally and take the time to understand your needs. We have the musical knowledge and are experienced enough to play requests on the night (even if we're mixing dance tracks) and we certainly don't use fixed playlists for every event.
